Where do I start?
Begin here…
Step one
Choose your fabric. Browse our most popular fabrics online, or pop in and see us to find the perfect fabric.
Step two
Decide if you would like your curtains or roman blinds to be lined or unlined. There are three different types of lining:
Cotton Sateen Lining
100% cotton at £3.99 per metre and comes in cream, ivory, white or oyster.
Fused Lining
50% Polyester/50% Cotton at £5.99 per metre. It is suitable for curtains and blinds.
Blackout Lining
This lining comes in white or cream at £5.99 per metre, and is used to block out daylight.
Step three
If ordering curtains, the most important piece of information we need to know is the width of the pole or track, and the finished length of the curtains.
For roman blinds, we need to know the required width and finished length of the blind.
This information will help the Cotton Mills team to calculate the amount of fabric and lining required.
Step four
Measure the overall drop (height) of the finished curtain or roman blind. This enables us to work out how much fabric is needed in total.
Step five
If ordering for curtains, decide on the type of heading you would prefer for your finished item. You have a choice of three, as pictured:
