Who you’ll speak to…
Maureen
Maureen has been involved in the selling of fabrics since 1978, her considerable experience has been an asset to our evolving business. It enables her to guide her customers patiently, offering advice about fabrics, textures, colours and applications ensuring that they have all the other necessary items to complete their project. Maureen’s personal tips enable them to complete the task at home, resulting in happy customers that return season upon season.
Andrew
Having been here two years, Andrew has shown his creative skills by window dressing the shop. He has also shown a flair for the re-upholstery of chairs and lampshades – an area we are exploring further. Having curtain- and blind-making experience, Andrew has a keen interest in the history of textiles and their use in interiors.
Joann
Joann has ten years of experience in this family-run business. Although she enjoys her gardening, her passion is with fabrics; incorporating her love of colour and texture in her work with customers’ requirements. Joann encourages customers to explore a more adventurous scheme for their project, having confidence in a superb product being the result.
Ali
Ali is a second generation Fabric Seller and loves nothing better than to give in to her obsession with fabrics and offer her expert opinion to achieve just the right look. She motivates her staff with her personal enthusiasm and ability to overcome challenges presented by her clients whose varied residences, which have ranged from small fishing cottages to manor houses in Cornwall, inevitably bring.
